In March 2006 Robyn van der Toorn, Ingrid Blohm and Deborah Inkson decided to stop complaining about the gift wrap available in South Africa, and do something about it. So they put their ad agency backgrounds to good use and designed and produced their own range of wrapping paper, tags and cards. The Flowermill range was soon available in upmarket gift stores and book shops around the country and started featuring in the all local glossies.        

The range has grown steadily and now includes boxes, notebooks, canvas art prints and sticky boards, as well as various lifestyle design products which have been making life easier for interior designers who are looking for something different.

When they’re not busy designing their own products, the Flowermill team spend their time working on other people’s brands – their sister company is Eleven Creative Team, a boutique design and advertising studio.
